Part Description
TPP Variable Pressure Clutch for 2002-2007 V-Rod
Text excerpt from the catalog:
When you feel that it takes to much from your hand to pull the clutch the Variable Pressure Clutch (VPC) is the ultimate solution. The VPC gives you reduced spring pressure at idle, but when revving up the bob weights use centrifugal force to put more pressure on the clutch than you could ever achieve with a High Performance clutch spring. It makes for easy clutch lever work from idle to 3,000 RPM, the area where most people need to pull their clutch to shift gear. Some Variable Pressure Clutch features: •Centrifugal force on the bob weights works like a Lock Up clutch •Reduces required clutch lever force up to 35% at idle on stock engines •Improved clutch engagement when revving up •Better clutch disengagement and feel •Easier to find neutral •Includes shims to tune the clutch for High-Performance applications •Clutch pull becomes heavier when RPM increase
