Part Description
Harrison Floating disc 11.5" REAR 2000u (TÜV)
Text excerpt from the catalog:
The people of Harrison Billet Brakes designed racing type disc brake rotors that provide the best braking power available, in combination with their Billet Calipers. These true full floating discs are able to withstand more heat and stress than one-piece rotors, without warping. The outer rotor "floats" on stainless steel buttons, which allows it to expand when it gets hot, without stretching the center. When the outer rotor cools down to it's original size, it relaxes back onto the buttons again, in its correct shape. Harrison's outer rotor is made from ductile cast stainless iron, which has an excellent friction coefficient (like cast iron), but won't rust. To keep the weight down to a minimum, they use a CNC machined aircraft quality 6082-T6 aluminum disc center. Harrison floating discs are available in stock, 11 1/2" diameter, as well as large diameter racing type 13" front discs. Harrison discs are for riders who appreciate the best performing, best feeling, and best looking brakes on the market.
