Cometic, gasket transmission shifter adapter plate. AFM
.032" thick AFM (Aluminum Foamet Material). Fits with ratchet top type transmissions. OEM replacement reference 34565-52. Cometic's AFM gaskets have an aluminum core with a chemically blown, compounded nitrile synthetic thin foam-like rubber layer bonded to both sides. Temperature resistant to over 250°F (122°C). AFM rubber has a 85% recovery while maintaining strong torque retention. Re-torqueing, gasket sealers or silicone beads are not required.
