.048" final crush MLS (Multi-Layer-Steel) head gaskets. MLS is a gasket made from multiple layers of polymer rubber coated steel uniquely designed and riveted together, outside the gasket surface, for ease of installation and provide a high performance seal. MLS head gaskets eliminate the use of dowel pin o-rings.
