Used to hold the hydraulic lifters (hydraulic tappets) in the tappet bores when removing the camshaft or to remove the lifters up & out of the engine. The tool is adjustable, allowing deeper penetration, no more pushing up the lifter to meet the magnet. The strong magnets allow you to pull tappet blocks and lifters out as a unit on Evolution engines. Helps prevents hydraulic lifters to be accidentally switched to another tappet bore position, this ensures best tappet performance. USA made.
