S&S, complete cam chest kit with gear drive 551GE cams
With gear drive easy start 551GE (.550" lift) bolt-in camshafts. If you're into a set of new gear driven performance cams you may want to upgrade all the other components in there, because upgradable they are! This S&S kit contains a set of standard or easy start cams, a precision tolerance replacement oil pump, cam support plate, performance hydraulic tappets and adjustable chromoly pushrods that can be fitted without disassembling the top-end. The effects? More consistent oil pressure and all cams are gear driven. Gear drive offers improved reliability, provide optimized cam timing with higher lift for better performance and reduced oil pump wear. All sets come with bolt-in cam shafts for ease of installation.
