Master cylinders and calipers are easily damaged and repairs costly. You must be able to judge correct fitment and application. After installation bleed the brakes, check master cylinder for correct fluid levels. Use specified brakefluid only. Check for leaks and make sure the brakes function perfectly. Initial test ride your brakes at a low speed. If you are in any doubt, please consult your local dealer for professional advise. Your life is on the line! SAFETY Note When necessary a 3/8-24 Inverted flare fitting can be replaced with a 3/824 banjo bolt when circumstances require. However the banjo bolt usually must be shortened. The master cylinder or caliper may need to be modified (machined) so the surface will be totally flat before the banjo bolt seal can give an adequate seal. tech-tip Note: We assume no liability in regards to errors in any specifiation that is mentioned.
