About Arlen Ness wheels All Ness wheels are precision machined from radial forged 6061-T6 aluminum and structurally tested to meet or exceed DOT, JAS and other approval test load ratings. The special hidden hub design includes wheel bearings. Both are installed and pre-set by Ness for optimal radial and lateral runout accuracy. Wheels are compatible with both ABS and non-ABS models. Ordering a Ness wheel. How it works. Rims and hubs are sold separately. All hubs fit all rims. So pick the hub that will fit your bike, then choose the rim style, width and diameter you desire. Assembling the wheel The billet aluminum hub kit comes with pre-Loctite treated hardware, preinstalled and pre-set bearings and bearing spacers. The forged aluminum rim is sold separately. Assembling the wheel is simple. Parts are precision machined and the hub (A) will slide into the rim (B) with high precision fitment. On the other side the counter hub (C) is bolted to the hub, effectively clamping both hub parts together with the rim in between. A forged hub cover is then installed, single disc wheels only, over the counter hub for the awesome optical 3D styling. Compatible with ABS & non-ABS models. Each hub includes several ABS outer rings. Note: Wheel fabricating requires basic technical skills, understanding and judgement.
