Includes all required bearings, o-rings and hardware. Gear drive cams provide improved valve timing accuracy and more mechanical sound, when compared to chain driven cams. Note: For best performance it is, like with all performance cams, recommended to use a free breathing air cleaner and exhaust system. Note: With each cam change S&S recommends their 583903 Precision tappet assembly set. Note 1: Small base circle cam. Requires adjustable pushrods and heavy duty valve springs. Not more power, just for people that want to eliminate the stock chain drive 465: Bolt-in, for increased torque and horsepower 475: Bolt-in 100 HP cam. Compatible with all stock components but requires free-breathing air filter & exhaust mufflers 540: Torque cam designed to offer generous pulling power up that hill, or quickly passing a big rig in traffic for big bore motors. Real life touring power below 6000RPM but still good for respectable HP numbers.(note 1) 550: Horsepower cam for 114 and larger engines. On the S&S dyno a 114" Street Glide with a Stealth air cleaner and Power Tune dual headers with Mk45 mufflers was good for 120 HP. (note 1) 590: All out high RPM horsepower cam for 124" and larger engines with monster bores and ported heads. The high lift allows maximum breathing right into the horsepower spitting RPM range. On the S&S dyno a 2018 Fat Boy with a 131" stroker kit, 68mm throttle body & Stealth +1 air cleaner gave 146HP @ 6200RPM and 112.58 torque @ 4700 RPM. (Note 1) S&S, CAM DRIVE GEAR KIT Includes cam drive gear and hardware. Note: Print on the gear will say 'out for M8'. Which means it goes one way for the M8 and the other way for Twin Cam.
