TWIN CAM CONVERSION CAM SETS These cams are used to to convert a 99-06 Twin Cam from the early stock 'silent chain drive', which is equipped with spring adjusters, to the '06-17 roller chain drive' with hydraulic adjusters that work on engine oil pressure. This roller chain and hydraulic chain adjusting system, which is much better than the early system, is used in all 06-17 Dyna and 07-17 Softail and 07-16 Touring models. Note: Cams are for use with splined (00-up style) driven gear. For 1999 Twin Cams splined 503575 driven gear must be purchased separately. Note: See 'Additional parts required for installation' below. These are not available through Motorcycle Storehouse, unless the MCS part number is mentioned. 12N / .489" LIFT Bolt-in cam grind with same output as stock cam. 88 inch. Slight power increase but no retuning necessary. 503697 99-06 TCA/B (excl. 2006 Dyna) 21N / .498" LIFT Bolt-in. More torque for allround riding. 88 inch and std CR, stock pistons and heavy bikes. Works well with both carb and injection. Stock springs OK. 1700-4800 RPM. 503698 99-06 TCA/B (excl. 2006 Dyna) 26N / .490" LIFT Bolt-in for 88-95 inches and stock CR. Good for two-up touring. More torque and horsepower at lower and mid RPM range. Works well with both carb and injection.
