Quality materials and the latest CNC and 3-D computer modelling equipment make sure each and every Kibblewhite Precision Machining valve train component is top of the line. All Black Diamond valves Are one-piece stainless steel forgings with a black nitrided finish. White Diamond valves Identical to the Black Diamond but comes with a hard chrome finish. Inconel White Diamond valves Inconel is a special heat resistant so-called 'Superalloy'. By nature of the material it cannot be black nitrided so it is hard chromed. It has a superior heat resistancy against issues like exhaust valve stem bending, of OEM M8 exhaust valves, without impact. 6mm is thin especially when dealing with extremities as detonation, lean mixtures and poor timing curves. Inconel's superior heat resistance will maintain its strength longer at higher temperatures, it is therefore used for the thin stems on M8 exhaust valves only. Abbreviations used in the valve overview table: The phrase Std., indicates a standard (stock) valve. O.S. indicates an oversize valve head as used in high performance applications. OAL indicates the Over All Length of the valve. T.S. indicates Thin Stem valves, to improve flow in Shovelhead applications, but special Thin Stem valve guides are required. When in doubt about your application, it is recommended to check dimensions of the valve that is to be replaced.
