Quantum coated Lexan® Polycarbonate. Acrylic - GOOD Acrylic is known for its crystal clarity that stands the test of time with UV stabilization, which prevents yellowing. High Impact Acrylic - VERY GOOD High Impact Acrylic has the same clarity as regular acrylic and adds impact resistant. Acrylic will withstand 10 foot pounds*, High Impact Acrylic will resist up to 20 foot pounds*. FMR coated Lexan® Polycarbonate - BETTER Polycarbonate is the highest quality motorcycle windscreen material available. All Heavy Duty windshields are made of Lexan® polycarbonate. Impact resistant up to 200 foot pounds*. It is virtually unbreakable, optically superior and since it is FMR coated it can be repeatedly be cleaned using conventional methods, without scratching. It is the OEM motorcycle Industry standard and was developed by National Cycle Inc. Quantum® coated Lexan® Polycarbonate - BEST Identical to the Lexan® FRM Polycarbonate but the special Quantum® coating makes this windshield material 10x better scratch and abrasion resistant than the FRM coating, with 2x better resistant against weather & aging influences.
