JT Sprockets is the world’s leading manufacturer of aftermarket sprockets, committed to supplying the most durable, best quality sprocket available in the marketplace worldwide. The company is constantly investing to raise the industry’s standards for quality and service. Great sprockets at a reasonable price. That is the reason why JT Sprockets produces and sell more sprockets than all the other aftermarket brands combined. Raw Materials The material is the start of it all and to produce a great sprocket nothing less than the best must be used, it's that simple. Aviation-grade 7075-T6 aluminum alloy, for lightweight but strong competition sprockets, and ultra-durable high carbon C49 steel for long lasting rear sprockets. For all front sprockets SCM415 chromoly steel alloy is used. Production After selecting the best material, sprockets must be made. The manufacturing process itself must be done fast and in massive quantities, to keep the individual high-end sprocket in an acceptable price range. That's why JT Sprockets has the most advanced best, fastest and highest accuracy CNC machinery that money can buy. That, combined that with the fact that JT Sprockets is the largest sprocket manufacturing facility in the world, guarantees the best sprocket against the best possible price. Quality JT Sprockets are manufactured the right way – by hobbing, machining and drilling. This is the only proven way to achieve the closest of tolerances and the most accurate teeth profiles. All are heat treated, hand finished to perfection and meet or exceed the highest possible quality standards set for the motorcycle industry. Every sprocket goes through up to 25 production stages and 10 individual quality control checks before it is ready to leave the factory. The JT Sprockets production facility has therefore achieved the highest European quality standards, but more important... you can be assured of a great sprocket! New sprockets? When you are in doubt about your sprockets, replace them. Worn sprockets will significantly reduce the life of a new chain. Chain maintenance Keep your chain clean & lubricated. Lube more often in adverse weather conditions. Keep correct chain tension, don't forget the effect of suspension travel. Even very marginal out of round sprockets can create a tight spot. If a 'tight spot' exists, adjust your chain on this 'tightest spot'. Always keep sufficient play to prevent excessive wear on chain and bearings of transmission mainshaft, swingarm and wheel. Tech-tip ALPHA XRG & ALPHA XRS The Alpha XRS chain is a low maintenance chain that offers reliability. This chain benefits from the special Xshaped o-rings. These so-called TX4-seal rings minimalize friction to provide a very light running and life-time lubrication of inner parts. All is packed in a sleek design. The Alpha XRG is developed to meet the demand of OE engineers for a light running, long lasting chain with high tensile strength, for current high performing bikes. TX4 seal rings keep lubricant in and dirt out of the inner parts. Sleek design with gold colored link plates distinguishes its appearance. SIGMA XRG & SIGMA XRS A X-Ring chain ('XRS' Steel color and 'XRG' Gold color). The X-ring is a very thin 'o-ring' with an X shape which offers a drag reduction on rollers and side plates. The reduction in drag is such that efficiency is almost increased to the same level as a regular roller chain, with the longevity of a regular o-ring. This is the quality Tsubaki chain which combines superior strength and performance with the longevity of o-ring type chains. OMEGA ORS The Omega O-ring chain is placed just below the Alpha, making it the economical O-ring choice with high durability and strength. Since that start Tsubaki has been focussed to produce the finest chains. Initially bicycle chains, but quickly shifting to industrial machinery producing everything for applications as conveyor belts for mining and factories in all sorts and sizes. After WWI Tsubaki started to produce automotive timing and power transmission chains and of course motorcycle chains. The ongoing Tsubaki research and development keeps Tsubaki on the forefront of chain developments. Today Tsubaki operates worldwide as a quality chain manufacturer that produces chains from the most basic to the most advanced for high horsepower motorcycles to the highest Japanese manufacturing standards.
