All Battery Tenders come with ISM (Infinite Sequential Monitoring) software which communicates with the battery and the microprocessor adapts automatically to the charging needs of an individual battery. Can be used as a regular charger after which it automatically switches to maintenance mode. A temperature compensating sensor is built in which senses temperature charge after which the microprocessor adjusts voltage requirements accordingly. With a red LED to indicate a 'dead' battery or something else when the battery is unable to take the charge and a green LED that blinks during the charging process, until the battery is at least 80% charged. A constant lighting green LED indicates the battery is ready for use. No other buttons or controls since all Battery Tenders will fully automatic go through the 4-stage charging program, initialization / bulk charge / absorption mode / float mode, as required. If the voltage is becomes too low, bulk charge resumes. Chargers are spark proof, reverse polarity protected and all come with alligator clips as a standard.
