The Hex-Plus design is a slight design change in the hex key which offers a larger contact surface. This helps to prevent notching effects, slippage and consequent damage to the socket of the socket head bolt. It also increases torque capability of the socket head by 20% without deformation. A Holding-Function, by ways of a flexible lock ball, allows bolts to be placed on the hex tip for easier installation. The hex keys are held in a clip of wearresistant material. Designed to hold the keys securely, but still offers easy removal of individual keys. The Wera clip with magnetiser / demagnetiser offers a quick way to add or remove magnetic force from the key whenever required. The Wera Hex-Plus system is supplied on many hex socket head keys and bits. It works like a mud-tire in the mud. The larger contact area improves grip, this helps prevent damage to the bolt head. Compatible with all regular hex socket head bolts.
