60 WERA Kraftform Plus Series 300 The right screwdriver? It's called Series 300. High quality screwdrivers packed with features. The external mantle is made from several materials with different properties. The large diameter black parts are harder for less hand-stick and smooth transitions, the green parts are softer for a non-slip grip high torque transfer. The ergonomical design of the Wera Kraftform handle fits perfectly in the hand, this helps prevent hand injuries such as blisters and callus build-up. Wera Kraftform: a synonym for 'graspable' ergonomics! The basic design of the Kraftform handle is dictated by the form of the human hand. In collaboration with the Fraunhofer IAO Institute it was designed in the 60's, finally introduced in 1968. Since then only minor changes, due to new technologies and materials, have been made. The initial shape never changed since perfection is hard to improve upon. The large contact area, with high friction to the soft zones, results in high torque transfer without any bruising from the edges. Wera Lasertip A precision laser is used to create a sharp-edged surface structure at the tip. The edge hardness is up to an extreme 1000 HV 0.3 on the Vickers scale. The Wera Lasertip 'bites' itself into the softer material of the screw to effectively prevent slip-out, making it an issue of the past. Available for slotted, Phillips and Pozidriv screwdrivers. The hexagonal part in the handle is a nonroll feature, it prevents tool-roll. 'Take it Easy' tool finder. Once used to it, it's golden. Color coded to indicate tip style, with tip size in numbers. Easier and faster than ever before. The Holding Function for Wera regular Torx® screws looks like magic, but is engineering and made according to Acument Intellectual Properties specifications. The optimized geometry of the original Torx® profile makes it work. Plant the screw on the tip and it'll stay there, until you screw it in.
