In many turn signal setups, the actual turn indication is poorly visible because the brightness of the clearance light reduces the contrast of the turn signal. The Marker Light X module now offers an added safety feature by turning off the corresponding clearance light when the turn signals are activated, allowing for clear visibility of the turn signal to other road users. The Marker Light X can also be used to permanently turn off external clearance lights. To do this, the module is installed between the BCM module or turn signal relay and the clearance lights. Additionally, the Marker Light X can use the existing turn signal system as a clearance light when not signaling. The brightness of the turn signals can be adjusted to 20% or 50% of the maximum brightness when not in use.
