This oil filter replaces all the internal components of the filter fitted in the oil tank on 1965-1982 Big Twin. So, in stead of the washer (OEM 6817), the upper seal (OEM 63881-67), the lower seal (OEM 63846-67), the filter element (OEM 63840-53) and the spring (OEM 63831-67), you just have to fit one part. This premium quality oil filter is made from the finest materials available and is specially designed for use with multi-grade as well as single grade oils, even heavy weight SAE 70.
